Game Masters need quality maps for their miniatures. DramaScape™ is committed to bringing Game Masters the maps they need.

The Fast Food Diner module includes the eating area, cooking area, and bathrooms inside the diner as well as a parking lot and drive thru outside, in the British style layout.

The fast food diner can be used in games ranging from the 1920s to the modern area. The 1920s is the start point since this is the first era of mass-produced cars following Ford’s line assembly model and after the establishment of the first fast food diners in 1910s that became more successful in the roaring 20s. As such, the fast food diner is useful in scenarios ranging from film noir to modern games.

Adventures with the fast food diner can start with a robbery attempt that could devolve into a hostage situation with criminals holed up inside the restaurant. The Player Characters could be superheroes that are called in to save the day. But the robbers are merely thug henchmen of a super villain, who has waited for the superheroes to arrive to strike. The parking lot outside could become a battlefield with a brutish super villain throwing cars or a smart super villain in a power suit shooting ray guns at the superheroes. The superheroes have to use the cars for cover to get close enough to the super villain to power down the suit or engage the brute in melee and knock him out. The complication is the number of civilians in the fast food diner as well as the police cordon around the area. The super villain may get desperate and start targeting the police or the civilians, especially if the Player Characters have shown a propensity for heroic saves of innocent bystanders in the past.

The fast food diner also makes an excellent spot for the Player Characters to unwind following a hectic and dangerous scenario and could easily be their local hangout.

This is an excellent product that will help Game Masters a lot. Maybe the diner is on a lonely road in the desert, or in a poor section of a big city, or is the only option for a meal in a small town, whatever your needs it fills in the gap. You may fi [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
