Inked Adventures are very proud to present this printable set of figure-scale tabletop dungeon plan geomorphs which were requested by fans and customers of the handy-sized (smaller) Hand Drawn Geomorph Tiles  (which were ideal for planning and demonstrating dungeon maps, but not large enough to use with 25/28/30mm where 1inch equals 5feet on the gaming map).

Based on the 1inch grid scale, these 10x10inch tiles will be compatible with other fantasy gaming products (miniature figures, tiles, erase-dry battle-mats, gaming paper etc.) commonly used to illustrate tabletop dungeons.

Also, if you don't like the 1inch scale or use electronic maps in play, you can edit the jpg files included along with the printable PDFs to create your own maps within your preferred software or platform.

Disclaimer - regarding small scale pen and paper art:
Although detailed, the pen work was drawn originally at a smaller scale for 3 inch geomorphs. There may be some accuracy discrepencies on the inferred grid, along with the odd stray pen line. Also a very slight mismatching may occur where the tiles meet.

Ordinarily I love your stuff, Billiam, but this I don't get. Why make these 10x10 instead of 8x10, or 8x8 if you need them to be squares? That would make them printable on standard 8.5x11 sheets.

Hi John! :) I totally understand where you are coming from. The simple answer here was that the designs here were not originally intended for use with miniatures but as cards for dungeon planning. The product was created at the request of customers who liked the smaller geomorph designs I sell, also these designs are compatible with cards I sell on Etsy - and I had many requests. I may still redraw the art because it was not intended to be blown up to this scale originally. 10x10 square dungeon geomorphs was a popular dimension for modular geomorphs in the OSR community and some online mapping programs at the time - especially because the square format is rotational and the "exits at squares 2 and 8" format provides a specific type of layout - cards can be shifted like a fabric half-drop pattern. Naturally 1 inch is the scale fixed by Wizards. The graphics files are provided for people who wish to resize the tiles to fit to their own page formats - if they have larger home printers, as well as...See more

Any chance of getting this set printed on card stock? I already have the PDF and jpg files from a previous purchase, but would love it if there was an actual printed version you could buy. Ex: A complete set of one dungeon tile per cardstock tile.

If this was available, I know I'd pay for it.

Thanks for the question. Neither DriveThru or The Game Crafter print to 10x10 inch tiles, so I'll be keeping an eye out for any print-on-demand companies which do (including distribution/international shipping). In the meantime it just isn't possible without custom bulk printing and die cutting which Inked Adventures is not in a position to provide at this time. In saying this, I'm often looking out for ways to move more into the large format but cost-effective pre-print market, so we may be offering maps on A3 paper posters (but not card unfortunately) at some point in the future. Hi,
There are smaller versions of the geomorphs (around 3.5 inches across for ten squares) but these can be still a bit small for tactical play for 15mm minis. (Click on our logo on the right to see our full catalogue, or visit our home site for links to tiles on The Game Crafter). What I recommend is using the graphics files in this pack (JPGs not the PDFs) and using a print wizard to print the tiles so that they fill the width of a page with a border. The 10x10 sq tiles will then measure about 7 inches across which will be a perfect size for 15mm figures. Alternatively you can print the PDFs at reduced size, by manipulating the printer settings, but that may waste paper, because the large tiles print half a tile per page. Thanks. :)

Unfortunately yes - but we are considering tweaking it slightly and adding colour in the future. Players are not discoraged from adding their own colour to the graphics files or physically colouring in the print-outs for fun. ;) Although the areas are smaller, our Square Dungeon Tiles product can be printed in colour - they are one of our most popular products, but lack the variety of caves and random structures found in this set. Thank you for your query. :) Billiam B / Inked Adventures.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
