This is a weird, science fantasy, gonzo campaign setting and wilderness hex-crawl for old school fantasy roleplaying games.  The Islands of Purple-Haunted Putrescence is a guide for helping you run crazy sandbox scenarios in a lost world of Snake-Men, dinosaurs, and mutant sorcerers... an exotic and deadly region possessed by a demonic, purple-hued god of ruin and consumption.

If you're into the OSR or just want some strange 5e flavoring, give this a try.  It's not your usual adventuring environment, but it will be memorable!

The Islands of Purple-Haunted Putrescence was successfully funded via Kickstarter at the beginning of 2014.  I just published a follow-up scenario (also with Kickstarter help) to go along with this campaign setting.  It's called Battle For The Purple Islands.  Check it out!

I suppose one answer to this question is an interest of utility. Overt sexuality on the cover is one way to signal mature content within, especially for those who don't enlarge the image to see the written warning at the bottom. If someone is turned off by the cover, they might be turned off by some of the ideas in the text. And in this case, yes, one would be partially judging a book by its cover.

Ces livres électroniques ont été créés physiquement en scannant les originaux et en utilisant les images obtenues pour faire les pages pdf. Chaque page est passée par un programme de reconnaissance optique ces caractères (OCR) afin d'essayer de déchiffrer le texte imprimé. Le résultat de ce procédé OCR est situé de manière invisible derrière l'image de chaque page scannée, pour permettre d'utiliser des recherches de texte. Cependant, un texte dans un livre donné sur un fond graphique ou avec des fontes manuelles ne sera probablement pas reconnu par le programme OCR, et ne sera donc pas pris en compte dans les recherches. Aussi certains livres imposants peuvent être redimensionnés pour correspondre au système, et peuvent ne pas avoir cette fonctionnalité de recherche de texte. La plupart des livres les plus vieux et en rupture d'impression sont dans le format images scannées.

Ces livres électroniques ont été créé à partir des versions électroniques, et permettent donc d'utiliser pleinement la fonction recherche. De plus, la taille de leur fichier tend à être plus petite que celle des livres scannés. La plupart des livres récents sont dans le format électronique original.
