Description:

You want customizable dungeon tiles for your RPG and war games miniatures, but the other guys want big money for their stuff. There are battle mats...Twenty bucks plus shipping?! Screw that! And be careful, if you don't wipe that mat right away, it will stain. Same goes for those complicated and expensive cut-up scenery sets. Sure they make a good table, but how much time do you have for model construction? How portable is a bunch of cardstock buildings? Do you want to mark up a building that took an hour to build? Give the Kaiser a couple bucks and he will give you a battlefield & dungeon as big as the world that fits nicely in a notebook folder!

The DOLLAR DUNGEON$ Floors set comes with 9 different high-quality floor tile patterns for color and B&W printers, plus a color cave-rock hexagonal tile set and a bonus set of stand-up doors. Print a bunch, Cut 'em up, Lay 'em down, and Rearrange those paper rooms to form any size dungeon you need for your adventures! Draw on it, spill Mountain Dew on it! If your wargames need an interior floorplan, here you go!

*SERIOUS UPDATE-READ THIS BEFORE BUYING ANOTHER BATTLE-MAT!!*

A friend asked me how much cheaper it was to use the DOLLAR DUNGEON$ Floors than a typical vinyl "battle-mat". I knew it was less expensive, but not by how much, so I decided to do a little math to figure it out.

I went online to find the biggest mat I could, and located a fine 34?" x 48" (11? square feet) specimen priced at $29.99 plus shipping. I printed out one copy of the regular 1" tiles gray-scale floor and took it to my local print shop with a $2.00 package of cardstock. They printed 20 copies for $2.00; 34" x 55" (12? square feet). So that's $4.00 for the dungeon and then add the sale price for the set. Compare that to 30 clams for the battle-mat. Math is your friend!

Even if you wanted to spend thirty bucks at the print shop, you could get a dungeon of a whopping 11' x 17?' (192? square feet!!) that looks like dungeon stone tiles (instead of perfect "oyster brown" squares) and you could keep the whole thing in a trapper-keeper! That's just too neat to pass up if you ask me!

Don't waste your precious time gluing together some castle or tavern you'll only use once! Worse, you might over-use it to justify the $15+ price-tag and make your players groan when you pull it out yet again. We all know how miniatures solve arguments and area-effects in combat. You will appreciate having a fantastic looking portable and versatile battle mat without paying battle mat prices. Most gamers will appreciate having a dungeon they can use without knocking over walls or play on without waiting a thousand years while you set it up. Get your DOLLAR DUNGEON$ today and play on them tonight!

Exactly what I was looking for, namely A4 size sheets I can print and tape together to make a battlemat. 8 sheets almost exactly replace a D&D Miniatures battlemat. The pack contains square, staggered square and hexagonal grids in several different [...]

For the money, you get a good, useful product. being able to print out these dungeon floors could be handy for most games that use minatures and movement as a big part of their tactics (read: d20 games). However, some of these floors don't print out [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
