Savage Features #01 - Out of Sight

I know this product is more than ten years old, but I'm hoping that the publisher is still watching the discussions.

I recently bought this pdf, and I like the adventure and the random format, but the pdf itself is making it difficult to actually run the adventure. The problem is that you can't copy the text to paste it elsewhere. I looked at the document properties, and it says it allows copying, but it just doesn't work (I've tried using four different programs on two different computers).

The way the pdf is set up currently, the only way to run the adventure is to just read it off the pdf (or a printout) while actually running it. Then I'd have to roll a location, turn to the appropriate page, roll an event and then read through the results (and depending on the results, maybe roll a third time) before I can actually run the encounter. Then when the encounter is over, turn back to the page that lists all the locations, roll a location, turn to the page with the new location, roll...See more an event and read the results (and maybe roll a third time) before we can get back to playing the game and play through the encounter. It's easy to see how this would seriously bog the game down to the point where nobody is having any fun. Printing it would make the job a little easier (not significantly so), but I don't want to do all that printing, and I shouldn't have to print the entire pdf out in order to run the adventure.

It would be a whole lot easier to run if I could roll up the outline of the adventure up ahead of time and copy the results into something like a Word document so I won't be sifting through dozens of events that won't even happen.

I do like the adventure, but I can't run this as is. Please fix the pdf.
