Standing proudly upon the highest point of Coldport is the iconic grey stone edifice known to the local population as the Lord's Tower. In distant times, the tower served as a rally point for defenders of the city as well as the seat of the ruling lord of the newly founded town. As the town grew into a city, the tower was supplanted by bigger and stronger fortifications and was left to sit in dilapidated deterioration for many years. Eventually it was granted as a gift of service to a young hedge wizard who began to repair and renovate the aged structure. And thus did the tower become the headquarters for the Pyromancer's Guild under the guidance of the now wise mage, Mabelote the Faceless. The guild prospered and grew in influence, until it was ultimately passed on to a promising young pupil, Rapuno Pang. Shortly after taking over the guild, Rapuno disappeared suddenly. The apprentices attempted to hold the guild together for some time, but when the city fell to invaders it was abandoned and left to molder in obscurity for many years. Now new tenants have taken over the venerable building and rumors have begun to spread throughout the city regarding what is going on below the Lord's Tower...
The Lord's Tower is the perfect base for a den of noble villains, a rich merchant harboring decadent smugglers below, or a band of successful adventurers.
Arsenale Shipworks renders its maps in black and white with simple, yet detailed line drawings. Our idea is to give you a thought provoking and inspiring encounter location without draining every drop of ink from your printer. The relatively small file size also makes our maps ideal for importing into virtual tabletops!
This map set is designed with a 1" grid suitable for use with most 25mm - 28mm miniatures and RPG game systems and is set up to print on 24" x 36" sheet size. There are three full sized maps here; the first floor, second floor, and a sprawling basement level. Additionally, an identical set of three maps has been included with the labels and text turned off to make it easy for you to customize your own unique encounter location. Each full size map has also been broken down into smaller 8 ½" x 11" sheet sizes to accommodate standard household printers.
For an extra bonus, we have included an Index to the Tower with a short description of each of the 74 encounter areas.
