One Dollar Dungeons: Wizard's Weird Tower of Wonders Map Pack

Have you come to pillage the lair of the mad mage? Are you an apprentice to a powerful wizard who must take care of the elemental infestation running loose in the tower? Have you finally finished construction of your mighty wizard's spire? With D20 Cartographer, the story is in your hands!

Wizard's Weird Tower of Wonders is the third in a series of One Dollar Dungeons maps, which represent convenient starting locations or class-specific adventure locals for each traditional RPG character class. The tower is a seven story structure of truly epic proportions. The first floor is the grand entrance with a mysterious glowing sigil in the center of the tower, and a cozy living space including a greenhouse area, library, office and bedroom. The second floor features a grand ballroom-the perfect place to be struck with an Otto's Irresistible Dance trap. The next four levels are elemental-themed: The peaceful garden (earth) the moist grotto (water) the shocking Aerie (wind) and the fiery furnace (fire)! And the final story, the rooftop ramparts, is the perfect cinematic scene to confront any archmage! The tower is mapped out in typical 1 in. = 5 ft. map format.

This is a very big map. You may alternately, use this to build a smaller, 3-story structure without the elemental floors by printing only the 1st, 2nd, and roof levels.

Included for your convenience are several different formats including:

- Full color maps in individual .jpg files (versions with and without grid)
- High contrast black and white maps in individual .jpg files (great for printing on parchment textured paper)
- Easy-print PDF files with the map sliced up into multiple pages for your home printer, compatible with US Letter and A4 size paper

D20 Cartographer also supports Virtual Table Top systems and includes:

- 100DPI gridless .jpg with objects removed
- Objects in .png format for use on this map or reuse on your private maps
- An RPTools MapTool VTT file (.rpmap) with vision blocking and object layer set up for you

OK, this one may have been a little too off the chart for my tastes. Although, the maps are exceptional as usual and will probably see use in my campaigns(maybe not all of the levels). Speaking of which this is a great use of thinking for a VTT versus [...]

This map pack is worth way more than a dollar. Considering you get about every possible format you could possibly want for a pregenerated map; gridded, non-gridded, JPEG, PNG, and more, you are getting some serious bang for you buck. Pun intended. Not [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
