Jacob spotted him across the promenade. The old, grainy photo Jacob held didn't do the man justice. Dressed in a finely tailored, blue pinstripe suit, Heinrick Anders was the epitome of a 1920's robber baron.
"This should be easy," Jacob thought as he watched the man hold court. Men and women seemed to breathlessly hang on Heinrick's every word and the man ate it up. As Jacob watched, Heinrick gestured furiously slicing the air with his short cigarette. "All I have to do is find the text and that should be a whole lot easier with King Anders over there occupied by his subjects," Jacob offered to himself and then chuckled. Jacob fished a scrap of paper out of his pocket. On it was scrawled two numbers: 34.

Jacob watched as the SWAT team approached the front door. Next to him an older man, dressed in a rumpled black suit and a dark blue windbreaker with the letters FBI on the back in white, raised the radio and gave the command to breach. The look on the older man's face was smug and triumphant. The team of ten officers immediately complied. The lead man stepped forward and swung a heavy steel battering ram at the door just below the doorknob. As the door splintered and swung open, the front porch was instantly awash in an explosive fireball that sent the troopers flying and blew out the windows on the squad cars parked across the street. “That can’t be good,” Jacob thought annoyed as he sprinted across the street.

Jacob strode through the double doors of The Provincial Hotel and into the opulent lobby. The marble floors gleamed as the afternoon sun streamed through the windows surrounding the lobby.
