“Barony” is the universal background for a medieval fantasy setting, a d20 basis for improvisation of DM. You know what powers a local ruler holds and how he deals with crime. You can play “Barony” as a strategy role playing game as a baron, senior of hundred knights described in the “Manor”, and who, in the next two parts of the “Strongholds” series, is promoted to count and duke. The economic and demographic systems are easy, playtested and compatible with Dungeons and Dragons’ “Player’s Handbook”®, “Dungeon Masters’ Guide”® and the realities of Middle-Ages. The magic, heroes, and beasts from “Monster Manual”® are an integral part of economy and warfare.
