You wander out of the dungeon into the scorching heat, and stumble on the rocks as your vision adjusts to the blinding sun. Canyon walls rise up around you, and you begin to realize that perhaps staying in the dungeon might have been a better idea.

World Tiles - Blasted Canyon Set is the first of our revolutionary environment creation tools. These aren't your usual unchangeable and static 2D tiles. These dynamic tiles utilize Acrobat Reader's Layer technology combined with the technique of texture tiling used in video games. This allows you to create highly customizable and expansive environments for your adventures.

This set includes 16 7" x 7" tiles for creating desert ruins, temples, villages, oases, crevasses, and barren expanses. While these tiles contain items found in a fantasy environment, you can easliy adapt them to work in a modern setting. Simply turn off the layers with "fantasy" items, and you have the perfect setting for some WW2 desert combat, or a "Death Valley" for your western adventures. This set also contains connections for our Dungeon Tiles, and our upcoming Cavern Tiles.

You must have Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher. We also recommend you have a computer with decent memory, as these tiles are 250dpi, and contain as many as 40 layers of items and objects.

But that's only 16 tiles you might say! Remember, each tile is customizable, and easily has a dozen layouts.  So just do the math, 16 x 12 = 192. That's at least 192 different tiles you can create with this set!
