Great book!
I'd like to have it in a print-on-demand option.

An excellent collection of monsters for your dungeon-crawl. They print out crisp and clear on a 1" grid and are very easy to distinguish in play.

Just when you think the rules for T&T couldn't be any more fun!
We do miss Danforth's art - that is, I want more and new art, and I'd definitely have loved a cover from her.
Descriptions of actions, spells, and instructions have been cleaned up. Classes make more since. And, as always, T&T remains flexable for your particular adaptation.
Jerry Pournelle & Larry Niven told me that you GOTTA love a game which has spells titled (for example) "Take That, You Fiend" and "Poor Baby." Reading, playing, and GMing T&T are not for the humor impaired. Nor is this merely an intro game. Epic campaigns have and will run for years. This game will be around as long as there is role playing.

This is an amazing value. As someone who's tried the minis route, I can say this is a dollar-saver's dream. The computer screen doesn't do justice to the beauty of these counters. I just got them printed up at my local Office Max, (The squares print as the perfect 1" x 1" size for D&D 4e adventures) and I must say I am thrilled. For around twenty bucks, you really can't go wrong. The cost for paper at a printing shop is around thirty bucks to print all the sheets in this bundle, but you never have to pay the twenty dollars again to keep printing them. This is a great alternative to the thirty dollars per box that official D&D token packs cost. Great buy. REMEMBER though, you're buying the rights to the PDFs. Not actual boxes.

An excellent, economic solution to trying to have unique counters for the monsters in the 4th edition MMs. The art on these rates from decent to excellent, and are pretty easily identifiable. My biggest problem with the tokens is that they're not terribly durable or easy to use, even when printed out on card stock - you really need to mount them to 1" plastic bases to make them easy to pick up, move, and use but that quickly gets expensive fast.

(Okay, I know I give high ratings to most of the products I've been reviewing, but I only review the stuff I really like)
My T&T 5th edition is one of my most cherished possessions, it was hard to see if it could be matched.
After some encouragement from the folks at Vin's Trollbridge forum, I took the plunge and bought this, which is currently a bargain for what you get ($15).
It's a great read for old gamers and new gamers alike. It looks very playable (and I refute the notion that T&T should perceived as an "introductory" game)
The Monster Rating and saving throw system and is still beautiful simple, allowing DMs/GMs/referees to create rich challenges with minimal effort. The rulebook is totally "complete", but the addition of the extra books is a plus. The newer rules are strangely refreshing and well thought through.
I wish I'd had this as a boxed set but the PDF is the next best thing.
T&T Forever! :)

I have to say that this campaign source book really makes me want to use it, even though it's meant for Iron Heroes (I prefer regular D&D). However, despite it's intended audience, this product is extremely "crunch-light" so adapting it to any system is a piece of cake (there are pretty much no rules to go along with it, only flavor). If you like a frontier setting with only hints of darker plots that are left unexplained (for the DM to exercise his own creativity), this is the book for you.

The latest in the series of counters designed to represent a certain company’s miniatures, the Fiery Dragon crew designed this product for use of the ‘heroic’ tier of the MM3. The book starts off with a medium great ape, and ends on zivort slasher. In between are filled out the ranks of elementals, dragons, and other monsters.
The art is line based and for the most part, clear of details making it easier to see the overall picture when printed. The coloring is a little cartoonish for my taste, but that follows the source material. The biggest downside for me would be the reuse of images. This is most noticeable when flipping through the images with an image viewing and moving back and forth as you can tell one image is either a mirror of another image or a slight coloration chance of another image or simply has different weapons.
Given the low price however, at $6.00, that’s a forgivable sin. In many instances, a single metal miniature would cost more than that price and if you wanted a miniature that was of one of the larger creatures, easily $20 or more.
If you have a 4e game and you want the miniatures that fit the monsters without having to wait for WotC to product it in plastic or looking through a vast miniature collection, the Heroic Tier has all of your needs for 1st-10th level for the MM3 covered.

These are great collections and I particularly love this option. Combined with the interactive PDF template that Fiery Dragon offers, you can use the individual JPEGs in this collection to print only the monsters you want in any number you want. Also, if you use MapTools or other programs that allow you to create individualized tokens to represent characters and monsters, this set is perfect to create counters that accurately represent the paragon tier monsters from Monster Manual 2 (4E). Your virtual tabletop D&D and fantasy games just got that much better. The art is high quality, the colors are bright, and I have used Fiery Dragon counters from day one for my enemies.

The Fiery Dragon counter master continues to expand options for players looking to have visual representation of entities from the 4e Monster Manual 2. This e-file covers all of the epic encounters, creatures standard listed at level 21 or more. This provides a range of angels, as well as the two-headed demon lord featured on the cover of the MM2 with all the critters of the appropriate level in between.
Something slightly different, is the addition of lava counters as well as lava counters. Its a nice touch and adds a bit more utility than the monster files alone.
As previous entries, this one comes with the PDF's that allow the user to assemble the counters that the user will wish to print out. Note that these are the individual files, not the full sheet ones as might be in the PDF or the physical product.
If you don't want to wait for WoTC to come out with an $75+ version of the big demon lord from MM2 and have your own campaign seeds running right now, the Epic 2 version is for you.

One of the latest in the Counter Collection series, Digital v3.0 Paragon includes a wealth of material to get the game going. At $8.00, the product is very reasonably priced. Why then a 4 star review instead of a 5 star review? The art. It's not that the art is bad, but rather that there is a lot of repetition and 'tricks' used to maximize the use of the art. This is evident from starting off with the archons, where the vareity in monster does not necessarily come from a unique piece of art, so much as a flipping and addition of a weapon. Others are very noticible due to the size of the illustration. The large firbolg's for instance, are so obviously flipped or given new weapons, it's like I'm playing with one of those online illustration programs and adding/subtracting weapons.
So why does the product get four stars? For one, there is an ease of use here. The product comes with several PDF files that allow you to load the images here onto the PDF for printing. The second is that the illustrations are full color. This makes them ease to see and use when mixing paper and metal miniatures. The third is that there is a wide variety of material here. Sure, there is repetition in terms of art, but it quickly allows you to print out customized figures and know which monster is where on the battlefield.
In short, if you are looking to expand your figure selection and can't wait for Wizards of the Coast to come out with those monsters you are looking for, the Counter Collection continues to provide solid value for the dollar.

I like reviewing art. I've probably said that before. But it's something I can do relatively competently, so I jump at the chance to review anything like this: Art that I can print and use in a game.
Ultimately, the quality is top-notch. Each counter will print out at high-definition 2x2 inches, but you could probably move it up to 4 without noticing (600x600, @ 300 dpi, so if you wanna print 'em at anything but 2, use the pdf's included, or be sure to specify a size).
The images are nice and high-detail. Ultimately, I feel that they'd look better than a lot of miniatures I've seen, and the ability to reprint one is always nice (admit it, everyone you know has pieces broken off of at least 1 mini).
Plus, the basic images are here, so if you wanted to use it for MapTool or similar (You might want to check on licensing, you may not be able to use these in any setting with streaming, even if it is to the same people who would see 'em on your table if they came over. The official site is lacking on terms of use, so it might be better to play it safe).
Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, if you need some counters, the only thing about these that isn't absolutely perfect is the selection and price. You'd get a lot compared to some other products, but if you can't find what you're looking for here (and there is a broad selection, though not necessarily of what you'd need, so you may want to check the preview first and see if they have what you need). You can probably find something from your campaign, though, from Archon to Wolf, even if it requires a little improv.

Another great addition to the Fiery Dragon Counter Collection. These counters are a great way to save money if you don't want to buy miniatures. This set includes over 100 counters as jpegs and pdf files that allow you to select the images you want for assembling and printing. It also includes a bloodied template, a nice addition.
