I have played RPGs for years and this was my first experience with a dice-less system. I tried running a game in a Play-By-Post forum and it did not go well. The 'calling of shots' is perplexing to both players and the GM as was the gain/loss of the character as they played. Myself and all of the players are big SK fans, but this system failed to do the setting justice. A little more math (maybe a dice roll or two) would have helped, as it stands the system is vague at best and open to interpretation.

This short but well-written compendium is just what you need if you want to take your game to the SW Stephen King's Dark Tower world. Rekomederar warm, but you should have access to Deadlands Reloaded books to get the full effect of this product.

For free, I suppose it's a good deal, but the mechanics are too sketchily-described to be of much use, and there's nothing really to speak of for a setting other than thin gloss on the Dark Tower novels. There might be something there, worthy of a more expansive treatment, but as it stands it doesn't seem like much of an improvement over just playing diceless or using coin tosses.

Interesting start to what could be a good game. Not very playable as is.

I tried it at InterNosCon 2012 and it was great! Sure, it’s not a complete game, but even “The Canterbury Tales” aren’t.

I'm not sure this actually passes the Turing Test.
