DramaScape continues to impress with each release (and in their words, if they didn't then it is time to close up shop - paraphrasing).

I got this, and I can't tell you what a GREAT product this is. The artwork on the map is amazing, as you would expect to see, but the tokens that come with it (top-down figures) really give you the feel of an "out of the box" gaming package.

This would be PERFECT with FINGER AND TOE's Soldaty Grunts and Kot'tal miniatures.

Great artwork, imaginative concept, and two of my favorite features: it is MODULAR, and it is EASY TO STORE.

I suggest you pick this up and fill it with whatever creatures you wish, and have the enclosed marines "clean house."

Brilliant colors, multiple layers, and fantastic artwork. Each set continues to get better and better.

With these options, you can use these to create entire armies, or as specialized troops to encounter in dungeon games.

CERBERUS ILLUSTRATION does what they do best in this set... Offer high quality figures in droves, for a decent price.

There is a shortage of front/back sided heroes out there. This set was warmly welcomed. Most hero sets offer a great image on the front, and a "silhouette" on the back, and come in "tent" form. These are actual figures, and enhance game play!

I was a little disappointed, however, with the fact that the figures in the front cover weren't anywhere in the set. It seems to me that including figures in the cover artwork should be the "best" figures in the set, and to feature these kind of let me down.

There were several images (about a dozen) that are offered in many color options (and in the case of the females, there are some that have wings, and some without). There are also "generic" figures that can be thugs, hirelings and gang memebers... they are also recolored to be police and guards. This is a very good use of these figures.

I personally would have rather seen less of the dogs (there are roughly 20 in the set), and would have liked to seen another "hero" in various colors worked into the set. A dozen police officers are fine. A dozen guards are fine. A dozen thugs are fine. A couple dozen guard dogs... a bit much.

As a GM and miniatures gamer, there are certain things I look for. Many of these CITY BLOCKS offers. Some, it doesn't.

It does layout a map that is, as the name implies, a large section of city with buildings, streets and sidewalks/ patios. This is great!

There are some other things that I would have liked to see. These are:

_ Nowhere does it mention the size of the map (except in the other review here). I would have liked to know the exact size of the "finished" map, so I could have planned out the mounting a little better. According to the other review, it is 40 x 30, which is the size of two foamboard sheets. This would have been good information to have ahead of time, since I can't afford to blindly print out sheets that I may not be able to use.

_ Also, I couldn't find any reference to scale! I am guessing that one inch = 20 feet, but there is nothing to confirm this. That is pretty important to a GM.

_ Finally, the artwork is good, and you can see what it represented clearly (vehicles, and such), BUT there are "squares" scattered all over the map. Are these debris? Pixelation? I really couldn't tell... It made the map look a little "cluttered."

These are the things I didn't like about it. What I DID like about it was the fact that you get an easy to store city at a great price! Like all of the other DramaScape maps, it is well laid-out and features 3D renderings to show your palyers, "You face North, and this is what you see."

I couple small additions to the "heart" of the text and this could easily get all 5 stars!

I prefer double-sided figures, and not the fold-over tent style. HOWEVER, the artwork and very creative, and has imagininative characters that are SO specific and cover a wide variety of super hero powers and archtypes, you can't help but overlook the silhouette backs in lieu of "traditional" backs.

This set has been around for quite a while, and even with the "standard" figures that are out there now, you can NOT beat this set for originality and and just plain old fun.

I am not sure if Green Ronin has more figures sets out there, but based on THIS set, I would buy them ALL!

Great set, and a LOT of potential.

There is no other publisher that can come up with such original, fun and beautiful work as OkumArts! This set features layers of figures and a "bonus" layer that we have come to expect from the mind of Dave Okum. Each figure exudes character and personality!

Beautifully drawn and brilliantly colored, this set is destined to become a cult favorite! If there isn't a crewman in this set you need, then you DON'T need it! My personal favorite is the guy in the bottom-right! He just looks like the cocky con-artist/smuggler!

Even with the "re-mods" of the zombies, this set is worth the price. It was worth it just to get the "hero." Lots of options, and gore... brilliant colors and easy to assemble figures.

To sum this set up in one word: "GROOVY."

WOW!! This set is like buying a huge box of plastic miniatures that are pre-painted, and you can assemble them in various poses and types. It would be possible to build entire ARMIES of figures using this set. What makes it even better is that it is in the unique and brilliant OkumArts style.

I could go on about the lavish colors and beautiful artwork, but I can't wait to make MORE figures! It is like Christmas every time you open the PDF!

PERMES has a way of defining a character or in this case, time periods. This set delivers a sampling of what makes him one of the greatest artists in the industry.

Rich colors and vivid detail really ad dimension to the figures. Now we have seen these, we want MORE!

This set of tiles is SIMPLE. I like simple. You build the dungeon the same way you build your figures! Fold-over and base them.

With SO many sets of tiles out there, I would (and have) recommended this OVER some other sets 5 times as expensive. The reason why is if you want to run a "quick and dirty" dungeon, you don't want to spend HOURS building a room that you will be in for 20 minutes.

I would have liked to have seen MORE diversity in the textures, but hopefully they will continue to release more of these sets, and possibly some Sci-Fi themed ones as well.

Good textures, and wonderful concept. This is by FAR my favorite set that Avalon Models has released.

WOW! That is just about it!

This trench set is totally freakin' AMAZING! It features a "control panel" (that looks like it is DIRECTLY out of WWI) that allows you to toggle on options, and even control the way the trench runs.

I sat down last night and was in awe of the LIMITLESS possiblities that this set offers. You basically get the options of an "empty hole," one with skids as a floor, with puddles, without puddles, gear and tools strewn about...even the option with or without squares!

There was ONE MAJOR set-back with the set. The set boasts 6"x6" tiles when I laid them out on a piece of 20"x30" foamboard, I quickly realized the tiles are 5 3/4"... a whole 1/4" OFF! Even if I took away some stars for this error... I would STILL give it a total of 5/5 stars, because the ONE small detail is overshadowed by the AWESOMENESS that this set contains.

This set is AMAZING. The tiles featured in this "Add-On" supplement are a great addition to the "full" set.

My favorite feature is the option to print these with the black or white (to save ink) fill-in sections.

I say grab this ALONG with the FULL set to get the most tile options for your dungeon!

In my opinion, this set his INKED ADVENTURES at its BEST!

Finger and Toe delivers yet ANOTHER great set!

As with ALL F&T models, you get a great modular set of terrain that offers realistic textures on an easy-to-build model that looks fantastic when it is built.

Whether you are wanting a simple set of wall sections to slow down the enemy, of a COMPLETE wall that emcompasses an entire village, this set has it all.

Because it is modular, you can print and build as mauch or as little as you want, and can always add more later.

Inked Adventures brings this out of NOWHERE, and WOW what a set!

He offers an ENTIRE dungeon on 6x6 tiles that will easily fit together without the fear of smaller awkward pieces sticking out, or narrow hallways that are fragile while being stored.

He deliveres all of this in his one-of-a-kind brilliance and unique style. Beautiful color and a level of 3D feel that you can't generate with computer. I plan on using this set as a "deck" and you flip the card over to reveal the next room or hallway.

He covers EVERY preference with choices of "A4" or US 8 1/2 x 11" paper, AND has white background (to save ink) or black background to "fill the voids."

I suggest that you pick this up as well as ALL of his other sets that would work beautifully with this.

ACE!

This set features MANY small seacraft, and all are done with beautiful detail. Even things like floating barrels add to the fun.

What surprized me was with all of the beautiful artwork it was followed up by lousy layout. The ships are on a watery set of bases, and they look INCREDIBLE, however, some of the boats that are one inch wide by 4 inches long have the squares in bizarre places.

You would think that if you were going to have a small canoe 1"x4" that the tip of the bow would align with the edge of the first square, and the stern would align with the edge of the fourth square. Instead, the tip of the bow is about 1/4" in, and the stern is hanging over 3/4" (or there abouts).

I understand it is a free set, but these sets are supposed to show the quality of hte publisher's work. I think had the boats had LESS per page, then they could have aligned them differently, and REALLY had an awesome set.

I would have liked to give this set the full 5/5 stars, because of the truly amazing artwork, but the alignment just looks off in my opinion.
