As buildings to set up a diorama go, I think these COLOR sets are great. Especially for beginners. The colors are good, as are the details. Their construction is fairly straight forward and simple, but with enough extras to keep them from being boring: for example, roof changes, side chimneys, or a building overhang. What I especially like with these sets are the "extras". This set has fencing with one building, and the newspaper building with a town cryer person, a wanted poster board, and a current news board for out front. The signs for the buildings are separate, so if you want to call the building something else, you can. If not, you can put the sign where ever you want. The set offers versatility, within limits, but I've had a lot of fun with them.

Makes great terrain for roleplaying and wargaming. Easy to put together, well for me anyway. Great value.

Great looking buildings that are a joy to put together. If you need some medieval/fantasy buildings, pick these.

Very nice variety of buildings. They are a bit on the small side though.

It takes a bit of guesswork to print these to be more inline with the 28mm scale of miniatures I like.

Not bad but WorldWorksGames VillageWorks and other sets are much better.

These new color sets are fantastic. I think i have more fun putting them together and looking at them than I do using them for my games....

A geat kit! The undisputed masters of cardstock scenery, MicroTactix, have upgraded the original Vyllage with color and this preview set shows how great the buildings look. The builsings assemble easily and have a great feel to them, especially when they're combined with painted minis or color cardstock minis. Even is you use other sets from different companies, these models will fit right in and add some variety to your fantasy towns. And yeah, they're great for wargaming!
