A pretty good premise, but it still needs a little fleshing to be ideal.

Wow, this one really sparked fear into my players - it is fiendishly haunting and terrifying within.

The concept is excellent for creating a level of horror in your players as they flee to this mill, but the mechanics of the whole thing (traps, encounters, etc) are horribly messed up and will require an hour or two of work to fix or make sense (provides no stats for two key encounters inside, forcing you to make them yourself, which takes a fair amount of time).

When I ran this, I had to add some extra material from my own ideas to flesh it out more and make it more exciting, but still the concept was there for me thanks to this product and it turned out to be a very exciting place for my players.

If you are willing to work a bit on it, then you'll enjoy it a lot.

This is a good adventure that relies on a slight bit of railroading to get the PCs involved. The players have to be forced though a hopeless situation to bar themselves up in an abandoned mill that happened be the private playground of a necromancer in the past.

The mill is obviously a deathtrap and the PCs have to defeat the various magical traps and devices so that they can survive to leave. This would be a good adventure to be used by a DM who can really inspire fear and paranoia into the PCs - otherwise, its just a standard series of obstacles to overcome although the rope and the grinder are both very nice touches.

This product is very nice in appearance and provides some fun and quirky moments. However it fails to live up to the premise. It lacks the crunchy bits needed to live up to the hype however. It would have been much improved with some basic scaling information as well as actual concrete data on the final encounter. Stat blocks would be enormously helpful as well.
