It's not quite the greatest product. Of the 7 pages, only 4 have useful information.
It does read like an old medieval herbal, only with magical ingredients, which is nice. But I am not 100% convinced that an imaginative GM could not come up with all these and more on their own. Granted it is under a buck, I think it might be a better value at half the price.
I would have liked to have seen more.

This 6-page booklet (not counting the cover) is a listing of possible ingredients for making potions. Each ingredient gets a one paragraph description and there is also a price list. The book is generic and stat free, although a simple ingredient list probably doesn't need much in the way of rules anyway.

This might be useful as a means of providing a little background atmosphere, or of giving adventurers the opportunity to sell the spit of the wyvern they've just killed (for instance). There's little indication of what the ingredients might do, beyond the fact that they can be bought or sold for money, and the utility of the book is probably therefore somewhat limited.

Most of the items seem to have been created as follows: Pick a creature from the SRD, lop off a piece, affix a price to it. Some are original items, though.

The layout is nice and easy to print.

LIKED: The flavour text for the idgredients.

DISLIKED: No crunch or originality.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Disappointed

This book is an apothecaries dream. It has 20 to 30 parts of creatures for use in spells. It also gives descriptions of each. Not the greatest series that Top Fashion came out with.

One of many generic fantasy supplements, these are darn good bargains. Lots of quick-use ideas are packed into small space, with no illustrations to undercut the page-count. Fun, cheap, and of good general use!

A crummy, crummy product. The author seems simply to have sat down and reeled off the first ideas that came into his head. There is nothing here of any value. Even by the standards of Top Fashion Games and at the price point it is sold at this is very, very poor.

LIKED: Nothing.

DISLIKED: Presentation is a joke. The "Artwork" is worse and the ideas are unispired. This publisher must do better in future.

QUALITY: Poor

VALUE: Ripped Off

The main thing I like about this product is the list of items with prices first then the description following. This way you can get a quick reference of the item'w worth then figure out what it is. Very nice product!
