I'm convinced that the number of review stars mean nothing. I simply cannot see how someone could give 4 or 5 stars to this.

I'm not saying this is a bad product. I'm just saying it's not worth the stars. I thought of giving a three, but it was pretty disappointing, despite the discount. Can't really say for sure what's bugging me but I get the feeling this PDF didn't take long to put together at all.

The currencies range from somewhat less than a copper to several times more than platinum. While the scope is quite exhaustive, and the descriptions given can offset the lack of illustration, I think a bit more fluff would've improved my overall impression. And that's considering the discounted price, not the original price...

LIKED: Some of the coins are pretty well named and the descriptions give good impression of how it looks like.

DISLIKED: The content, while having nice ideas, just isn't really very concrete. That cover looks disgusting. I think school children can design better than that. It's made worse when the cover's reused for almost every single product from this publisher. And on their website, it says "Play hard, look great!".

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
This is a nice product and it features alternate money, coins, and tokens. It gives everything from tin standards (worth 1/4 copper) to gemstone token coins worth hundreds of golds, the most valuable are the ruby and sapphire tokens (worth 1000GP and 1500GP respectively). It also gives descriptions of each coin. I wouldn't use all of it but I will probably use a lot of it. Nice product. These guys are going to go far in the buisness.

LIKED: It made a lot of non-standard coins. Which add flavour to the game.

DISLIKED: I didn't like the cover.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
One of many generic fantasy supplements, these are darn good bargains. Lots of quick-use ideas are packed into small space, with no illustrations to undercut the page-count. Fun, cheap, and of good general use!

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
This is a nice idea but I didn't feel it was executed well.

LIKED: The idea is good because it adds diversity and color to the money portion of the game.

DISLIKED: This looks to be done in some older format of word or works that doesn't play well with newer applicatons. If there were pictures I did not see them.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
For those DMs/GMs who are tired of players asking "how much gold is there in the treasure?" this prduct will inspire you to let them find something new. Whether you are creating a new campaign or just want to tweak a current one, this product will show you different types of currency that is very usable. Each coin type has a gold piece equivalent and the race that would have minted it. Following the coins are the descriptions of the coins. Tis is very handy when you need to describe the coin found so the players think it's something of worth. Very useful to the harried DM/GM.

LIKED: The Item listing is first so you can decide what to have appear and the descriptions following. This makes a very clean layout.

DISLIKED: I can't think of anything.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
