Excellent instructions, very detailed. They do take a while to build but look great when done

Everything looks really good and is fun to put together. Great way to get into card modelling.

Another over-blown offering from Fat Dragon.

Others have already commented on most of this product's short-comings, but here's what I endured...

I suppose for 3 bucks you can't expect much, but even making a simple, bare hill, without any ruins, was a ridiculous effort, AND virtual failure.

As others have said, it takes about 2 hours, but this was way too long for a blank-topped bump on the battlefield, and that is indeed all this produces. A tiny hump of grassy dirt, not the top of anything approaching even the smallest hill. By scale, it would suffice for a children's backyard game of king of the "hill". The tactical necessity of a 5' high gentle rise is minimal in most of my figure battles.

Yet, that might be all right, if only it wasn't a piece of crap. The convoluted side-strips are too long to manageably affix well; there are no instructions & no decent way to attach the base; and, after all that snipping, gluing, & time, the top of the thing isn't even level.

Yet, worst of all, the ill-designed sides result in multiple points where the white cardstock shows through.

If I wanted an irregular bump that I had to color-in myself, I could do that without paying Fat Dragon.

This is a very nice model that is mostly simple to put together. All the pillar pieces assembled very easily, but I had a difficult time with the base. That may be more due to my lack of experience than anything else.

But the model looks very nice, the instructions are pretty clear (with pictures!), and they even include a few different hilltop options. If you are looking for a simple way to add some life to your game, then pick this up.

I really had no problem asembling the model. It does require a few strategically placed foam blocks under neath of the top if you want it to support a heavy mini, but it only took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I love the look and can't wait to see what other nifty terrain they come up with.

Just do you can calibrate this review this is the first cut n' paste project I've had in over a decade. It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble this thing. I used the thickest card stock ink jet paper I could find over at the local office store. Attaching the base was the hardest part, this is likely where the product could improve the most. Also the top surface was not flat. They recommend in the directions to use some foam blocks cut into the shapes you need to support their models. After 2.5 hours this seems excessive.

All that being said I was able to use this with my players and they enjoyed it very much. A few oohs and ahhs where to be had. It prints out nicely and the pillars fold up very well. In the future I may use more such terrain.
