I own a lot of SK Games' tiles, and they are awesome. They're well worth the price. I use them as jpgs with Map Tool on a cloned monitor, and they really bring the setting alive.
Hopefully, they will get the town/city tiles going soon!
Ed does such an excellent job with his rendering of 2D terrain for us.
All of his products are worth every penny we spend.
This introductory set follows in the footsteps of the Skeleton Key Annuals in that it demonstrates a wide variety of terrain to all of us in a tight little package.
It does an excellent job of introducing a novice buyer to the Skelton Key terrain lines.
Keep the excellent product coming Ed!
Though some of these tiles look the same as ones in other products this is a great expansion, or intro, set into Ed's tiles. The quality is the usual high standards and having extra tiles always helps when trying to make a dungeon or cave look different.
If you are artisticly inept like me, and need good quality maps in a hurry, this is a good choice. The flat colors didn't eat a lot of ink and still came out looking good on paper. This list price of $7.99 is a bit high, but if you catch this on sale and need map grids pick it up.
