This product is definitely a beast. But, it's a FUN beast that isn't as difficult as it appears. I tried out the old TSR paper fold-up kits back in the day, and was disappointed. They don't compare to this product at all.
The instructions included are very good, and I didn't see any errors that the original reviewer mentioned. However, given Fat Dragon's response to their customers, it would not surprise me if the error had been corrected in the week or so between when that review was done & I bought the kit. The only change I would recommend comes from another customer - to make the side walls' supports vertical instead of horizontal. This does seem to give a stronger result.
I did end up with a little bit of warping along the towers, probably due to my inexperience. Still, I ended up with a very nice kit, despite being a novice in the hobby. This would be just the screen to DM long campaigns or games at conventions.

This is an early review, as I have not had a chance yet to actually construct the buildings yet. Looking at the pdfs & instructions, Fat Dragon has gone to a different method of stacking their floors, which will limit the interchangeability with their Base set. This method looks simpler, however, which should be appreciated by fellow beginners.
The cellar doors, balcony, and raised streets should all be welcome additions to your game's towns. As is normal with Fat Dragon's sets, the textures are wonderful to look at. Note also that the edge of foamcore visible at the base of the raised platform is not actually visible in the final product, as a 'cover' was added to the piece to address the issue.
