I have sampled at a few different core guides and now I have finally found my first White Wolf game world that I will explore in depth. I find it a bit surprising but Demon the Fallen is the way forward, along with the World of Darkness core book (since they all depend upon that book). It would be quite an experience as a player if you had little foreknowledge to have this information about all kinds of evil suddenly thrust at you. It might be a challenge to the religion. It should be a blast. I am not sure how stable most people are in this day and age in this department. The one thing that I noticed in other game worlds is that the writers attempt to create a plausible argument for accepting the possibility in reality.

Demon: the Fallen is one of White Wolf's most imaginative and enjoyable games! I've read many of their books, and personally I put this in the top 3 alongside Vampire: The Masquerade and Hunter: The Reckoning.

The free-form complexity of acquiring worship and how your character goes about it leaves infinite routes for your players to create unique systems to garner the faith which their characters survive on. Truly phenomenal work, and a joy to read as well as play.

As the other review states, Demon: The Fallen centers on a Christian theme for its source of demonic forces. That's just something you've got to live with, as the whole of the World of Darkness is written around that ideological bent to an extent (except Werewolf, which is my absolute least favorite of their products).

Demon the Fallen is a good book laying the base for creating demons, it gives good explanation but it's centered too much on christinity, forgeting there is other origin for demons.
