D6xD6 RPG Critical Dawn World Setting
Publisher: Lester Smith Games
by Timothy K. [Verified Purchaser]
Date Added: 07/17/2015 21:52:46

I have purchased many of Lester's products over the years. They are always brimming with detail. This product is no exception. A lot is crammed into six pages here. Easily adapted to your favorite rpg system, but don't turn your nose up at the core d6xd6 system, it is a gem.

Aftermath! : Operation Morpheus
Publisher: Fantasy Games Unlimited
by Timothy K. [Verified Purchaser]

This is one of the greatest adventures I never ran. I so want to find the time to smooth the corners on the Aftermath! system to run this adventure in its original game system. It is pretty easily adaptable to other game systems. I think it could be run without a lot of changes for 33 years of age.

I love FUDGE dice. That being said, I wasn't sure the dice range was enough to pull this off. Reading the combat tables, I think it will work fine for a rules light session. Wouldn't support a campaign, in my opinion, but would step up to the plate for a one shot.

This made me laugh out loud in a place I was embarrassed to do so. Such a clever scenario and a great introduction to the game. I love Steve's work, and this is a great product. I think it would be easily adaptable to any game system. Support Rolf! and Steve's cats.

Thanks for the kind words! This goes to show "always trust your editor, especially when she's the co-creator of the game system." I originally had a completely different third Battle Scenario for "Bill Clinton and the Secret City of Women." It apparently play-tested okay, but L.L Hundal didn't really like it, so she came up with the ending that's in the product, as well as giving us the return appearance of The Most Interesting Man In The World. I will be putting that cut scenario (along with the Pre-generated Character that got dumped up on the NUELOW Games blog in early November. Thanks for commenting, for playing, and for helping feed my cats! :) --Steve Miller, NUELOW Games

I have read several attempts to fix Craft. This one is spot on. I compliment Mark on his ingenuity and simplicity. Keep it up!

Here's where the classics mechs are. Well put together. These are the ones I remember using 30 years ago and the ones I'd like to play now.

I like the organization of the file, but the bleed through of the opposite pages is very distracting. I wish they had a better original to work from.

I haven't read all of it, but I downloaded blue men and shortly thereafter purchased this. I like the dice mechanic, and it seems to be an exciting take on the genre. Good job ERP!
