This pdf is 10 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page SRD and 1 page back cover, leaving 6 pages of content for Ichor Humansbane, so who is he?

The latest addition to the Infamous adversary-line, Ichor Humansbane, clocks in at CR 9 and is a surprisingly cunning troll ranger 5. The full-color one-page artwork by Michael Fall of the dread troll is distinctive in its style and does its best to make the creature creepy and indeed, he is. What could have been a boring brute can actually be considered a nigh-unstoppable one-man army at low-to mid levels, easily lending himself to being a dread guerilla-menace who slasher-flick style, could make for a dread foe for a whole party of PCs, even without allies. His knowledge of the terrain he inhabits alongside the very smart combination of magical items he employs make it easy to picture some rather interesting tactics for the troll. Have I mentioned his cape of weeping faces, which he took from his victims - his signature magic item?

It should also be noted that each magic item, his spells, special qualities etc. are all linked to d20pfsrd, making this file very easy to use. On the final page, the whole statblock of Ichor is repeated in a printer-friendly way sans grey-background - very cool and nice to have.

Conclusion: Formatting and editing are top-notch, I didn't notice any glitches. The layout adheres to the 2-column standard and the artwork is stunning and not something I would have expected at this price point. The new magic item and basic concept of Ichor are very cool and his stats are rock-solid. One the one hand, I REALLY love this character, the artwork, his unique signature item, the d20pfsrd-support etc. On the other hand, though, Ichor provides not as much content as e.g. the Faces of the tarnished Souk series. A special companion animal or similar allies, with stats, would have made this a perfect 5-star offering. As written, though, he falls a bit short on the content-side for my tastes. My final verdict for Ichor will be a close 4 stars - I almost went 3.5, but he simply deserves the 4 for the smart item combinations and cool artwork.

Endzeitgeist out

Infamous Adversaries: Ichor Humansbane by TPK Games is a product that takes a small subsection of the Pathfinder game and crams it into 10 glorious pages that will make you glad you purchased it.

Contained in this scenario is a beautiful full color picture of Ichor Humansbane ,Troll Ranger/5, and follows right into the stat block of said Big Bad Evil Guy. All stats are laid out just like a Paizo monster with everything you would need to run with this guy including all his magical items. He is not only a well equipped but a smart predator to make your players think "This is no ordinary troll!". All abilities, magical items, feats, etc have links back to D20PFSRD.com so those of us with tablets or game with computers can click the link and tell you what the link means.

Then we come to the background of the BBEG. We find out what makes him tick, how he got there, what he looks like, the inner workings of his mind, and why get got the nickname "Humansbane". There is even local lore section where you can tell your players information about him for those with Knowledge skills. If you can't find a place to put him there are available plot hooks on how to shoehorn him into your game. Honestly if you are running a forest or woodland game this is a no-brainer.

TPK Games knocked this one out of the park and you can see that they learned from prior works to put out a solid product that gives the DM just enough meat to run with and plenty of ideas on how to use this monster in your game.

If there was one thing that I thought would be great addition is a map of his lair. This guy has to sleep somewhere, I wonder how big his bed is? Hmmm.

Great adversary! Love the TPK line of products. True to form: TPK craft a deviously-powered villain that behaves and thinks like a PC. It makes formulaic dungeon crawl into a terrifying horrorshow. My friends and I played against one of their previous adversaries at GenCon and we nearly got decimated. Really enjoying the Wailing Cloak magic item. it's always hard to find good magic items outside the beaten path, and I never have time to invent my own.

Can't wait to launch this villain into the next campaign.

Highly recommend to anyone to download. For $2, you essentially have yourself an adversary that'll last for a campaign.

More fun from TPK, reminds me a lot of a villain that use to plague us back in 2nd edition AD&D. Keep it up guys, i am really enjoying your works.
