Be careful. The advertising on this product is slightly misrepresentative. It claims that you do not need the core XCrawl rulebook to play and that a nice introduction is given to players new to the world of XCrawl. This is a pretty gross overstatement, unless you consider a list of common terms less than two pages long an introduction. No history of the world is given, none of the rules related to mojo and face, etc.
Having said that, this looks like a decent module for the XCrawl line. I was just hoping to replace some of the best bits of the XCrawl rulebook, which I loaned to a friend some time ago and haven't seen since. The actual XCrawl rulebook can be bought at RPGNow (but I'm pretty sure it was written for D&D 3.0).

LIKED: Decent layout. Fully featured module. Acceptable art.

DISLIKED: Misrepresented in its advertising and cover blurbs.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Disappointed
