If you think the pacific northwest and especially Seattle is a totally screwed up and completely liberal city in the early 21st century, you haven't seen anything yet. For those Shadowrunners that haven't experienced the sprawl (and that in itself is amazing for this game) you'll find an outpost of UCAS civilization surrounded by an amazing variety of Salish opportunities. Council Island (formerly Mercer Island) is an island within an island of NAN territory.

The only thing I don't quite get about the sprawl is why Olympia isn't included in it. Some mysteries are yet to be revealed I suppose.
