Again another solid product for my taste. I don't like to be spoon fed my RPG information. I like it wet and mutable like mutan gene pool. This system truly encompasses magic as should be. Now my spellcaster can have some flavor and you can't always know what to expect from a spellcaster. It makes them truly functional and it also give a sense of reality to their workings. As a Gamemaster I, don't mind the work it takes to make this work.
I use a universla chart that I created in order to scale spell power, drain, damage and so forth. This way it cuts down on the math the players have to do. I think thats the only down fall of this system. Again though the flexibilty more than makes up for that
