![[PFRPG] GM's Options: NPCs 2: Druids, Fighters, and Monks](images/2680/113127.jpg) |
Here is a collection of fully-developed NPCs to populate your world. There are two druids, two monks and two fighters, each presented at 1st, 5th and 10th level so hopefully they can fit in with your adventurers - as allies, adversaries, competitors, patrons.... whatever it is you happen to need a full-blown NPC of one of these classes for, but don't have time to create them for yourself.
Each NPC is presented in the same way. First there's his backstory, which tells you a bit about him, what he is like and how he behaves. Then come the traits selected for him (if you use the traits system from the Advanced Players' Guide, if you do not they are split out here so that they are easy to leave out!) and a note 'On Porphyra' - this is a campaign world being developed by 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming and Purple Duck Games, and again can be left out if you are not using it, as it generally ties the NPC to specific locations or events there.
Next comes complete stat blocks for that character ...

With their "Inner Darkness" supplement for "Hot Chicks: The RPG", Dakkar showed they weren't afraid to encourage gamers to explore adult and sometimes disturbing themes in an RPG setting, and in a sensibly mature way. This paper standee pack reinforces that approach, providing a suitable complement to their "Hot Chicks 3" figures, here, of course, distressed and mostly naked. Technically, the group matches the expected Dakkar CGI artwork quality and 25mm-scale bracket, and prints out cleanly. While of less overall utility than their clothed sisters, such well-designed standees have their uses in the right scenarios, with the right players. Following from "Inner Darkness" however, shouldn't there also be some Hot Dudes equally distressed and unclad?...

An Endzeitgeist.com review
This pdf is 4 pages long, 2/3 of a page front cover (with a sketch by Wayne Reynolds!!!), 1 page SRD, leaving us with 2 1/3 of a page content, so let's take a look!
The dragon has raided the village, the orc-horde has rampaged through the town, the necromancer-king is ravaging the country-side or the insane druid has conjured forth tornados and tidal waves - business as usual for adventurers: They set off, kill the bad guy and there - all well! Well, not in my game. I always considered it weird that there was no repercussion for the people - beyond a motive for closure/revenge - what help is it to a town if the PCs kill threat xyz, but they'll still starve?
Enter this cavalier order, which is not about killing baddies, but about HELPING people. You know, doing something that's actually GOOD. The merciful cousins get heal and knowledge (engineering) as bonus class skills and may use the latter untrained - and if the cavalier actually has r...
