Interesting tables and encounters, but the results of some choices and punishments depicted for unhappiness are unsettling, gruesome, sick, and wretched, and my players would not stand this adventure in whole as written, and neither do I.
This is a good mini-adventure for the price. Unlike many adventures published for use with Lamentations of the Flame Princess rules, I can run this with my group without driving group members away from my table at high velocity. It's what weird fantasy roleplaying was meant to be.
Adventure Shorts is definitely a great find. It gives great jumping points to start a nice Session which can be incorporated to any Campaign. I am thoroughly pleased with this product and definitely look forward to more from them.
I felt that this was definitely well put together. I have used quite a bit of this through my Campaign setting as it adds depth and flavor to what would have been an empty and meaningless travel through the wild. I definitely feel that this line of 5e products from this company is definitely great and adds a lot to a campaign (Wanted was also a very nice product as well...if you have not checked it out, do so!). I definitely look forward to future products from them!
I feel that the product was definitely great. The storyline is engaging and descriptive, yet still leaves room for some ad-libbing as well. I actually cannot wait until the rest of the modules are done so that my gaming group can continue forward. The map images were definitely quality and when converted were easy enough to import in to a nice Roll 20 campaign setting. I highly recommend this and believe it is well worth the money.
This was a great surprise. It is a steal for the price if you want a self contained Fantasy RPG to run all in one book. Very complete. I know I won't use all the rules in the book but like most Gms I will pick and choose what rules to use. Tons of content and you can see the amount of work the author put into this book. A self contained rulebook in a printer friendly format with Black and white artwork.
I love the character creation and the long list of races to choose from the most. That is where this book really shines. I am very happy with my purchase. Great system. I was looking for a fantasy system to run that had a good rules system and this one hit the sweet spot for me. Just enough crunchiness without over doing it.
Looking forward to any supplements to this RPG but you really don't need any more unless you want a setting. Personally I like to create my own and this book is perfect for that. Great job on this book. Great price. I will buy the next book for th...
Well-designed, easy to put together, and great support from both the community and Fat Dragon. I was also surprised at how economical these were in terms of ink used, compared to other tiles and maps I've printed. Now I need the whole collection!
I was very hopeful when I purchased this product. The starting moves were enticing enough to warrant a purchase. Unfortunately, the Advanced moves left a lot to be desired. For starters, there needed to be a bigger variety. All 18 advanced moves can be chosen between levels 2-10. Eight moves are unique. The remaining 10 moves modify or add to an existing starting or advanced move.
The playbook strives to mimic the world of television wrestling. In my opinion so much more could have been done to make this playbook feel like you're playing an individual from that world. Moves are written in simple language and little is added, if at all, to evoke the flavor of wrestling. I feel the concept the author was striving to represent is strong and distinct. However, this playbook falls very short in realizing it's potential.
Without a doubt, the best half of this playbook is already available in the product preview. I wish I could get my money back....
A well-presented helpful addition to any gamemasters bag of tricks, it contains settings, characters and many other things needed for the typical war-torn town to set into your campaign. It can used ahead of time or on the fly to add meat to your description of the town that your characters have come upon.
I really enjoy the ideas presented here and my only complaint is that I wish there was simply more of it. This CC would go great with narrative based charisma and presence based classes like the Bard, Dashing Hero, or Mask. Anyone who plays a character who utilizes fashion or poise would likely find this useful as well. Some might argue that this isn't as hardcore as your average Dungeon World CC, but I think it tackles the topic of being a fashion model as seriously as is possible.
A great tool to add variety to wargames. I play solo often so I find the secondary objectives and sub-plots useful when creating scenarios. I can start with a basic set-up (e.g. attacking a defensive position) and add random elements drawn from this book to complicate things.

Oh.My.God. I am so excited to play this game. I have only printed and read through the intro and rules, but I'm so intrigued and jazzed to play this game. It's definitely right up my alley. I heard about this one from the 2 GM's, 1 Mic podcast and I can why they rave about it.

I heard about this game by listening to the 2 GM's, 1 Mic podcast. I have briefly read through the intro and rules, but have not yet read through the module. I am very interested in playing this game though - it sounds like it will be right up my alley and I like the simplicity of the system - I can hardly wait to see how it works.
